Job Description:

The Social Media and Content Executive is responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies and content creation to enhance the online presence and engagement of clients in the marketing and advertising agency. This role involves managing various social media platforms, creating compelling content, analyzing performance metrics, and staying abreast of industry trends.

Social Media Management Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Management

    • Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive social media strategies for clients.
    • Manage and optimize social media profiles, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
    • Schedule and publish content across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
  2. Content Creation

    • Create engaging and shareable content tailored to each platform and target audience.
    • Develop a content calendar to plan and organize campaigns, promotions, and regular posts.
    • Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and other team members to produce multimedia content.
  3. Community Engagement

    • Foster and grow online communities by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
    • Implement strategies to increase follower engagement and drive community participation.
    • Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
  4. Analytics and Reporting

    • Track and analyze social media performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or other relevant platforms.
    • Provide regular reports on key performance indicators, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
    • Use data-driven insights to refine and optimize social media strategies.
  5. Campaign Management

    • Plan and execute social media campaigns aligned with clients’ marketing objectives.
    • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure campaigns are consistent with brand guidelines and goals.
  6. Stay Updated on Industry Trends

    • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in social media and content marketing.
    • Provide recommendations for incorporating new trends into client strategies.
  7. Client Communication

    • Collaborate with account managers and clients to understand business objectives and marketing goals.
    • Present social media strategies, campaign results, and recommendations to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms, trends, and audience behavior.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles is a plus.
